Once and for All – Ephapax
A Special Easter Drama
“He entered once for all into the Holy Place, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.” – Hebrews 9:12
This Easter, the young people of St Columbanus and Ballyholme Presbyterian invite you to witness *Ephapax*—a powerful new drama bringing to life the significance of Christ’s sacrifice.
The Greek word *ephapax* appears four times in the book of Hebrews, underscoring its deep importance. Before Christ, the high priest entered the Holy of Holies just once a year on the Day of Atonement. But with Christ’s crucifixion, *ephapax*—once and for all—took on its fullest meaning.
No other sacrifice in history has been declared from the beginning as fully sufficient for all humanity and the entire cosmos. Nothing more can or need be done. The barrier between us and God is gone—Christ, our High Priest, intercedes for us eternally.
Join us this Holy Week as a new generation proclaims this timeless truth.
